Pasay escapes Rizal in double overtime

The Pasay City Voyagers needed two overtimes to get past Rizal Xentro Mall Golden Coolers 96-89, to extend their winning streak to six games.

Jasper Salenga and Felipe Chavez each had 17 points and four others scored in double figures for the Voyagers, who improved their win-loss record to 16-8.

The Xentro Mall Golden Coolers, who dropped their 8 game of the season (14 wins), was led by Alwyn Alday, who had 17 points.

The win, Rizal's 14th in 21 games, moved them just half a game behind idle Zamboanga for 2nd place in the South Division.

Agem Miranda had 19 points,Mark Dyke contributed 13 with 14 rebounds and Arthur dela Cruz flirted with a triple double (10 points, 12 rebounds, 8assists) for Ilagan Isabela.

This is the second consecutive game date postponed as rains continue to pour on most of Southern Luzon and Metro Manila.
