Dave Ildefonso, the league's leading scorer, scored 20 points and added 8 rebounds to lead Abra to another victory, this time over Ilagan Isabela Cowboys 76-59.

Abra, the league's best team, with a 22-win 1-loss record, extended their winning run to 20 games.

Ilagan Isabela, who has lost 3 of their last 4 games, was led by Donald Gumaru, who finished with 11 points.

Upon review of the footage of the incident from last night's game (August 11) between the Mindoro Tamaraws and the GenSan Warriors, the MPBL has meted a lifetime ban on GenSan player Michole Sorela.

A ₱200,000 fine has also been slapped on Sorela for the punch that left Mindoro's Jonas Tibayan with a broken jaw and concussion.

"We condemn the incident and the MPBL won't tolerate such actions", said MPBL commissioner Kenneth duremdes in handing out stiff sanctions. "It compromises the player's safety and taint the league's image".

The Mindoro Tamaraws (13-10) scored a tight 76-72 win over the GenSan Warriors (13-9) to move just half a game behind them for sixth place in the South Division. The Top 6 at the end of the Regular Season automatically qualifies for a playoffs spot.

Bambam Gamalinda scored 21 points and hauled down 7 boards to pace the Tamaraws. Wendel Comboy (16 and 5) and Joseph Sedurifa (12 and 7) also had good games for the Tamaraws.

Kyle Dominic Tolentino had a double-double (21 points and 10 rebounds) to lead the Warriors.

Michael Cañete had 16 pints and Alwyn Alday 16 as Rizal Xentro Mall Golden Coolers beat Ilagan Isabela Cowboys 71-63

The win, Rizal's 14th in 21 games, moved them just half a game behind idle Zamboanga for 2nd place in the South Division.

Agem Miranda had 19 points,Mark Dyke contributed 13 with 14 rebounds and Arthur dela Cruz flirted with a triple double (10 points, 12 rebounds, 8assists) for Ilagan Isabela.

Mark Dyke scored 20 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead the Ilagan Isabela Cowboys to an 88-73 win over the Davao Occidental Tigers.

Donald Gumaru added 17 points and Agem Miranda and Allan Santos had 10 each. Arthur dela Cruz finished with a near triple double with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists.

The MPBL has decided to postpone the games scheduled for today, July 21, 2025 at the Batangas City Coliseum due to the heavy rains affecting Batangas City and nearby areas.

The health and safety of the teams, working staff, and fans are of utmost importance to the league.

The new date of the postponed games will be announced in due course.

Judel Ric Fuentes scored 17 points in just a little over 10 minutes as the Quezon Huskers made quick work of Ilagan Isabela 96-78. The final score was closer than the game really was as Ilagan outscored Quezon 35-16 in the fourth.

Axel Iñigo hit 8 of his 12 three point attempts to lead the Mindoro Tamaraws past Manila Batang Quiapo 95-56. Iñigo finished with a total of 28 points and added 5 rebunds and 5 assists as the Tamaraws improved to 6-7.

Manila, who suffered their 11th straight defeat, was lead by 13 points from John  Ashley Faa.
