The 19th edition of the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship will take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from Thursday, July 25 to Saturday, August 3. Following the Girls’ U19 event in Croatia and Serbia, the global spotlight now shifts to Central Asia, where the next generation of men’s volleyball stars will compete for the ultimate youth crown.
Host nation Uzbekistan will make its World Championship debut against Türkiye in Pool A. France, Iran and Korea, who each reached the podium in the last edition, also open their campaigns on Day 1. France will face Canada in Pool B, Iran will meet Spain in Pool C, and Korea will take on Cuba in Pool A.
This year’s tournament welcomes a record 24 teams, divided into four pools of six for the opening round-robin stage. The top four teams from each pool will progress to the Round of 16, also known as the eighthfinals.
