Xavier Cooks scored 30 points on 13-of-17 shooting from the field and added 9 rebounds, leading Australia to a come from behind 90-89 win over China to win their third straight FIBA Asia Cup Gold.

Jaylin Galloway added 23 points, making 6 of his 10 three-point attempts, and 5 boards.

It was a tough loss for China, who led by as much as 15 points in the second quarter and led for much of the game.

Mingxuan Hu paced the Chinese with 26 points and Jinqiu Hu contributed 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Australia's Jack McVeigh scored 17 points, Harry Wessels added 16 and William Hickey 14 as Australia cruised past Iran 92-48 to advance to their third straight FIBA Asia Cup Final.

After a close first quarter, where the Aussies only led by 7, Australia outscored the Iranians 53-17 in the middle quarters to put the game out of reach.

Mohammad Sina Vahedi scored 11 points to lead Iran.

Australia used a strong start and kept the Philippines at bay the rest of the way, clinching a semifinals slot with a convincing 84-60 win.

Owen Foxwell scored 17 points, leading 4 other Aussies in double figures. 

They will face the winner of the Iran - Chinese Taipei game.

Kevin Quiambao was the lone bright spot for the Philippines, finishing with 17 points, of 6 of 10 shooting from the field, including 5 three-pointers.

Jaylin Galloway and Reyne Smith scored 18 points apiece as Australia never trailed in a 93-80 win over Lebanon.

Both also had 5 rebounds and 3assists in leading the Australians to their second straight win.

Youssef Khayat led Lebanon with 22 points and 6 boards.

Hyunjung Lee and Kisang Yu scored 24 points each, while Jun Seok Yeo had 22 as South Korea held off Qatar 97-83.

Qatar, which lost its second straight game, was led by Brandon Datrelle Goodwin 19 points.

Lebanon's defense held Qatar just enough to score a close 84-80 win in a game that was close throughout.

5 players scored in diouble figures for Lebanon in a balanced attack to offset the explosive performance of Qatar's Brandon Datrelle Goodwin, who finished with 33 points (10-of-17 from the field, including 4-of-9 from three; and 9-of-11 from the freethrow line), 5 rebounds and 6assists.

Jack McVeigh of Australia scored 20 points as Australia cruised past South Korea 97-61.

Australia led from start to finish as South Korea couldn't keep up with the hot shooting Aussies, who finished with 15 made three-pointers on 26 attempts.

Junghyun Lee had 20 points for South Korea.
